Mehmet Duran Gülez , Chief Executive Officer of Gülezler Metal, explains the business processes as follows. ‘When a customer applies to us to meet their steel construction needs in a new factory project, we are with them at every stage of the process. At the beginning of the project, the pre-production drawings sent by the customer are quickly transferred to the programme by our expert engineers and the production process is meticulously planned. Giving information about the machine park, Gülezler Metal Senior Production Supervisor Mechanical Engineer Eyüp Kot; ‘We have 3 FICEP models in our structure. These are; Gemini, Katana and Valiant models. In our Valiant model; We do hole drilling, countersinking, threading, milling, pocket emptying, marking, cold marking operations. The products we want to manufacture are produced with millimetre precision with the help of the CNC unit. We can process 3 axes of the whole material at the same time. Our model primarily saves us time. Since we do not transfer the products to another machine, we do all the operations precisely on a single machine. After performing these operations, we switch to Katana. In Katana, we make the final cutting of the product and make it ready for dispatch.’

Stating that another machine model in Gülezler Group machine park is Gemini belonging to FICEP, KOT made the following statements about Gemini. ‘ GEMINI is a plate drilling-cutting machine. The machines available in the market only perform plasma and oxygen cutting. Here, with the help of a 3-axis CNC unit, we can perform cold drilling on the plates. Cold drilling process prevents the material from deforming. This is one of the features that our customers want from us the most. Since standard machines drill holes with heat treatment, deformation occurs over time, but we eliminate this problem with cold drilling.

We can perform many functional features such as milling, marking, countersinking and threading. From 5 mm to 80 mm thickness, we can perform operations on many standard sheets.’ KOT added that thanks to their quality control processes, the parts they produce fully meet the standards set by their customers.
